Reading my erotic poetry in Philadelphia!

Details here
Tomorrow night, Tuesday, November 16, I will be featuring, along with Jeremy Edwards, at The Erotic Literary Salon in Philadelphia.

I'll be reading my erotic poetry, including the two poems that were finalists at this year's Seattle Erotic Art Festival's Literary Art Showcase. This will be the first time I've read them in public, and my first purely erotic poetry reading. Should be fun and interesting.

Jeremy Edwards will be reading from his book Rock Your Socks Off . I'm excited to get to hear him read this and add his physical voice to his wonderful writing voice. I just have to remember to bring my copy to get it signed!

Sign me bowled over by the sensuality and lushness of your language and the rich tactility of your metaphors. Many try, few succeed and even fewer triumph. You, Erobintica, are the real deal. What a treat to hear you live.

Yes, yes, the work was exquisite and the delivery impeccable. I love your feel for the rhythm and music of the words.

Thank you so much Ricc and Jeremy! Likewise, I truly enjoyed hearing your words. What a wonderful place for sharing. Ricc, you're lucky to have it. I'm sure I'll be back.

Hope so. Your words make me swoon. I don't say that to all the girls.

This is a very late "Congratulations" for this awesome accomplishment but the depth of its sincerity is not diminished in any way. Of course it went well. Of course your reading was awesome. You never do something like this half-assed.

A few mornings ago, I awoke to a question in my head, "So, do you think you'll show up for your life TODAY?" It wasn't a nasty voice, but it was tinged with just a little hint of exasperation and tiredness. I mean, really, how many more things have to happen to me before I realize I'm not immortal?

I admire you because YOU show up for your life almost every day. Even the bad ones. There's power in that.--Linda
